How to renew the Windows License for Windows server

Step 1.
Enter the Remote desktop and connect. Click the Start button and right-click on  Command Prompt and select  Run as Administrator  *. If you can't find  Command Prompt , type cmd in the Search box.

Step 2
For Windows Server 2008 - After opening the  Command Prompt. Then type "slmgr /rearm" and Enter and wait a moment. A message will pop up. Press OK and close the  Command Prompt.
For Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022 - After opening the  Command Prompt. Then type "slmgr -rearm" and Enter and wait a moment. A message will pop up. Press OK and close the  Command Prompt.

Step 3.
Click the Start button,then click the arrow button> and select Restart.

Step 4.
After clicking the Restart button, select Security issue and click OK.
Wait 3-5 Minutes, then go to Remote desktop and connect.
